Let’s eliminate the existence of time from our knowledge.
Since there is no counting method for a day, month, and year, how will our lives look like?
Our lives will be like a self-rolling snowball. For some reason, a small snowball is formed. Thanks to the wind, the snowball is slowly rolling forward and becoming bigger and bigger. It finally reaches the top of a hill. It continues rolling down the hill until it hits something or self-destroyed.
We are just mere creatures living on Planet Earth. That’s why it is not about us. It is about the Earth. The Earth orbits the sun. We have days and nights. It is nothing but the Earth doing its job. We wake up when there is light, do our activities, and sleep at night. It is very simple that we are on the Earth which is orbiting the sun and it is possible that there is no such thing as time.
If there is no such thing as time, which means there is no past, present, and future. Then, why do we have memories of something which had happened and why do we have history records? Why do we have hope for the future? Why do we understand our current situations?
The only possible answer I could think of is: we interpret our somehow continuous and somehow discrete reality into information and store them somewhere within us. That’s why we have memories, understand our current situations, and have hope.
The world without numbers will be a headache. And, numbers don’t lie. It is said that mathematics is the universal language and it can interpret things that our brains can’t understand. Every language has numbers and they are beautiful.
Sometimes, we are prisoners of our own creations.

It took me many hours to write such a short article. “The world without numbers will be a headache” comes from my experience because I am now having a headache and time is something which can’t be ignored while thinking.
